The London based Serna Facilities Maintenance, part of the wider Serna Group, specializing in commercial cleaning and renovation works, today announced the appointment of their first Non- Executive Director Gary Lumby MBE, as part of its future Growth Strategy. The Group is aiming to double its turnover to £5m this year and substantially increase its workforce as a host of new client opportunities have been secured.
Gary Lumby MBE is an experienced ex C Level Banker previously with Barclays and Yorkshire Banks but who since 2012, has built up an impressive array of Non-Executive roles within businesses across the UK in many different Sectors. Commenting on his appointment Gary says “ I worked with Mauricio Palacios Serna owner of Serna Group on the Goldman Sachs 10k Small Business Programme where I am a Growth Expert and it was clear that this was a business going places and had the potential to seriously scale up. So, I am delighted to be joining the Board at this important stage of its growth journey”.
